Live Mycology Oriented Chat Platform
The heart of The Colorado Myco League has been on Discord since 2022. This is the best place to stay informed about local events, giveaways, and groundbreaking research in mycology. Join us to network with experienced mycologists, share cultivating techniques, swap recipes, learn mushroom identification & safety, and discuss anything fungi.

Monthly Mycology Meetup Events
Everyone is welcome to join us for learning and/or sharing their unique perspective on mycology. We encourage you to share mushroom themed gifts and network with novice and expert mycologists alike. Find all our sponsored events on the Events page.

Wild Mushroom Foraging & Identification
Starting in the summer of 2024, we plan to organize educational forays into nature to find and identify mushrooms in their natural habitat. Mushroom foraging books specific to Colorado are recommended companions on these trips. We don’t claim to know every mushroom out there by heart but we certainly know the steps needed to get them identified correctly. If we can’t figure it out together, we will help you get them in front of someone who can. These events will mostly be organized in our Discord server and will also be listed on our events page.

Mycology Classes & Workshops
Learn the basics of mycology and cultivation by participating in seminars designed to get you started on your mycological journey. Limited attendance is available, so please RSVP. We announce classes in Discord first and then our Events page shortly thereafter. Sign up early to secure your spot!

Customized Spotify Music Playlist
Thats right we have our own colorado, mycology and mental health themed playlist that is perfectly suited for when you are in the lab or just burning the midnight oil. One moment it will have you contemplating the intricacies of life, another moment it may give you the giggles and another shed a tear… a little something for everyone.

Printable ‘How To’ Guides For Download
We regularly publish our own guides on various mycology projects. Examples include: How to Make Your Own Shelf Stable Tincture at Home, Growing Mushrooms in a Shoebox on a Shoestring Budget, Breeding Mushrooms for Beginners: The Right Way vs the Easy Way. We will release more guides as we complete them.
